Kuba is a film director whose lifelong passion for cinema began with his first job in a VHS rental shop. What started as a teenager’s adventure exploring the jewels of popular film ultimately shaped his entire career. Before devoting himself fully to directing, Kuba honed his technical and storytelling skills working as an editor, VFX artist, and VFX supervisor.
Today, he balances directing TV commercials for top global brands with developing highly successful feature films. He made his cinematic debut in 2021 with the hit comedy “The In-Laws” (“Teściowie”). He followed this with “Miało Cię Nie Być” (“Ryfka”), which took home an award and four nominations at the prestigious Mastercard Off Camera Festival. In 2025, Kuba delivered one of the year’s biggest box office smashes: “The In-Laws 3”. The record-breaking comedy became the most-watched installment in the series, drawing over 1.5 million viewers to theaters.
As a true multidisciplinary creator, Kuba is just as comfortable writing a classic script as he is designing complex VFX solutions. He loves crafting every frame to visually enhance and guide the narrative, ensuring each detail plays a crucial role.
Yet, despite his commercial and critical success, the ultimate judges of Kuba’s work remain his kids, Helena and Iwo. It can add a bit of pressure, but earning their approval always brings him his greatest satisfaction.
