Stanisław Cuske

Stanisław graduated in Cinematography from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice, Poland, and completed a documentary filmmaking course at the Andrzej Wajda School. As a filmmaker, he has directed and shot music videos, feature films, and documentaries, including The Dam (2018), The End of the Season (2019), The Pawnshop (2022), The Kiosk (2023), and Postcards From the Verge (2023). His works have been showcased at numerous prestigious film festivals worldwide.

His career has taken him across the globe, working on projects in South America, Asia, and Europe. He was a camera operator on Jonathan Glazer’s critically acclaimed film The Zone of Interest (2023), which won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival. He also collaborates closely with cinematographer Łukasz Żal, serving as his camera operator and second-unit director of photography on both feature films and commercial projects.

Ambitious and creative, he constantly seeks new challenges, striving to develop a distinctive visual language for each project. His background in documentary filmmaking provides him with a unique perspective, allowing him to approach every subject with depth, authenticity, and a willingness to experiment visually.
