“My greatest dream film wise is to make someone feel something while watching my work and not only be impressed with what we did visually. That’s probably why I observe natural light so much and usually try to maintain human perspective while lining up shots. This way someone, hopefully, can relate his own experience to what we’ve created.”

Born in Warsaw in 1984 Wojtek studied photography and sociology before entering film school. This might be one of the reasons why human-oriented curiosity is distinctive to all of his work. Graduated with merit from Cinematography Department of Lodz Film School in 2013, he immediately began his career as cinematographer on both feature and commercial sets.

His portfolio consists of more than 130 TV ads and numerous short features and documentaries. Beside of his humanistic background the harmonious and gentle visual style of his images is highly influenced by nature and natural light.

Wojtek is a nature guy — he loves all sorts of activities connected to it, such as mountaineering or motocross. Regarding his work, as he says, each project is a different story requiring fresh new approach and creative attitude.

That is why he always searches for a distinctive narrative language at first place, getting highly involved in every project from the very beginning.
