An outstanding cinematographer and director, graduate of Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice, where he now works as a lecturer.
Two-time winner of the Cinematography Award at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia and the Bronze Frog at Camerimage, member of the Polish and European Film Academy, PSC, ZPAF and Polish Directors’ Guild.
His mature and elegant cinematography with a great artistic attention to detail make him one of the most desired Polish film DOPs. He has collaborated with many acclaimed Polish directors and also managed to develop numerous of his own documentary and feature projects, which won awards at film festivals around the world including Berlin, Krakow, Nyon, Karlovy Vary, Chicago, Leipzig, Tampere, Teheran and Trento.
His feature debut “The Red Spider” had its world premiere in the main competition in Karlovy Vary and won many awards at Polish and international festivals.
Marcin is known of his perfectionism and unique style.
