Director and screenwriter, graduate of Krzysztof Kieslowski Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
Kordian is a man of many interests, from naïve painting, old school holiday resorts, English premier league, portraits of strangers found at local flea markets to vintage wind-up toys.
However, it is the filmmaking which takes the first place on this list.
Kordian stands behind awarded short films “Fusy” (Grand Prix Etiuda & Anima 2017), “Szczękościsk” (Grand Prix Gdynia Film Festival 2016), internationally acclaimed “Larp” and “Muka”, to name a few.
Apart from shorts he also directs TV ads, music videos and TV series (his “Mental” is one of the most anticipated Polish TV series in 2022).
In 2023, Kordian, together with Maciej Buchwald, directed the satirical comedy series “1670”. Released on Netflix on December 13, 2023 the show quickly gained popularity and is on the lists of the most watched series in Poland and abroad.
His full-length debut entitled “Malignum” is currently in production.
When not filmmaking, Kordian explores Poland on bike.
